ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Police are searching for two men who shot at a mechanic late Monday near some Albany train tracks.

The victim told WALB he was working on a box truck on Flint Avenue around 10:30 Monday night when he felt it shake and heard a door crack open.

He said he saw two men rounding the corner and chased after them.

It was during the foot chase that one of the men opened fire.

He said the men got away with a bag of clothes that was in the front of the truck. That bag was later found in the middle of the road, with the clothes scattered.

Investigators collected fingerprints from the vehicle and searched for shell casings at the scene. No suspects have been named.
