Thomas University students return for fall classes

THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - Students at Thomas University returned back for their first day of fall classes on Monday.

Professors and university staff were in the courtyard helping students with classes and informing them about different majors the school offers.

Students and staff at TU said they are excited for the upcoming semester.

"It went by really fast for me. So, I'm really excited to get the year started. It's going to be a great year with CAB and all the new students coming in." said Fungai Mumba, a junior and CAB president.

"Quite a large number of military and veteran students this year, so we're looking forward to getting everyone on campus and getting down to a new school year." said Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. John Meis.

The student activities office's staff had a snow cone machine out in the courtyard for students to enjoy during their break in between classes.
