Library employee reports seeing man inappropriately touch himself

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany police are investigating after a woman claims she saw a man inappropriately touching himself in the Dougherty County Library.

Police were called to the library on 300 Pine Avenue Friday morning around 10:45. 

An employee told police a man came in and asked about 'Spongebob' books. 

She showed him where to find the books.

After he went to the bookshelves, she told police she saw him with his hands in his pants.

Police said he was wearing a white T-shirt with writing on it that said 'Congrats' in red letters. 

He was also wearing green basketball shorts.

The suspect was approximately 6 feet tall and 250 pounds.
