THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) -

Parents of Thomas County students now have a faster way of getting all the back to school information they need.

The school system released its new app.

On it, you can find lunch schedules, contact information for school staff, and receive important notifications.

Digital Learning and Media Services Coordinator Erin Rehberg said it's already been downloaded by more than 1,000 parents in just one week.

"We have had an app for the past couple of years, but it wasn't very easy for parents to find it in the app store, so we wanted to make it where the access to school information was easy to anyone who needs it," said Rehberg.

The app is free wherever you get your apps.
