14. Is laparoscopic fundoplication cost effective?

The point when medical and surgical therapies were similar cost was 17 months for laparoscopic fundoplication.  All three studies concluded that laparoscopic fundoplication was the most cost effective form of treatment for patients likely to need lifelong therapy.
