With the first day of school in Valdosta being right around the corner, the Second Harvest of South Georgia is working to help teachers supply their classrooms.
The organization is focusing on schools that teach children from low-income housing.
Community members are encouraged to pick up extra school supplies to donate while they're out shopping this weekend.
Second Harvest officials said every little bit helps.
