Family members are still searching for answers after a woman was found dead early Friday morning at a home in Tifton.
Trell Ross is a family member who was shocked to hear the news earlier on Friday.
"I'm just praying she died a natural death," Ross said.
The Tifton police department and Georgia Bureau of investigation cannot confirm the woman's name or cause of death as of Friday evening.
But Trell reflects on her memories.
"She was very lovely, nice, she was free hearted, she would help anybody she can. She'd talk your ear off and make you laugh and everything," Ross said.
The woman was found deceased in a 500 block of 11th Street.
According to neighbors, she was in her forties.
Ross said she was well liked in Tifton.
Sharon Bryant is a good friend who says the woman she was close to always kept her laughing.
"I was shocked. When my niece told me I said What?!," Bryant said.
She told her niece she'd just seen her friend on Wednesday. But upon hearing the news Bryant knew she had to act.
"I ran out the door and I went to her boyfriend's house," Bryant said.
For now family and friends remember her with a warm heart.
"She made everybody in Tifton laugh. Everybody in Tifton knew her. So there ain't nothing bad about her. She was a good person," Ross explained.
The Tifton police department is handling the investigation from here.
