ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A man Albany police were looking for in connection to recent car break-ins is now behind bars.
Officers said Charles Skinner, 40, was taken into custody on Tuesday
Police said he is a suspect in three different entering auto cases: two on Broad Avenue and one on Oglethorpe Boulevard.
APD said that nine warrants were issued for Skinner's arrest.
A spokesperson for Albany Police said Skinner denied involvement but told police he 'scraps car batteries'.
Police also said that batteries were taken from some of the car break-ins.
