6. What are the features of reflux induced asthma?

Reflux induced asthma is adult onset, nonsmoking related, nonallergic, associated with cough, worse with meals and poorly responsive to asthma medications. It is usually assocaited with no heartburn and no esophagitis on endoscopy.
