ALBANY, GA (WALB) - There's going to be a new regime for Albany State football this fall, and Saturday is your chance meet the new leader.
ASU is holding a fish fry meet and greet from 2 until 8 at Lovett Hall on Saturday.
It's a chance for fans and supporters to pick the brain of newly hired Gabe Giardina.
The former Charleston south Offensive coordinator comes from the Big South as a first-time head coach.
He already has the support of the man with the most wins (170) in Albany State history, Hampton Smith.
"There's some people that used to support me and I want them to come out and feel comfortable around him so we can start this season off right," said Smith. "We're going to start off with Valdosta State. That's a tough opponent."
Entry is free. Donations to the athletic department are welcomed.
