ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany city commissioner Bobby Coleman officially announced his candidacy for re-election.
Wednesday morning, current Ward 2 city commissioner Coleman said he understands government now better than ever.
He said some of his main concerns include community blight and economic plight.
During his three years as commissioner, he has attended multiple conferences, which will help him combat the blight, and promote economic development.
"I will continue to campaign as I did three years ago. I won't be using social media. I will be coming door to door. I'd like for you to see and hear what I tell you in person. And as we move forward, I will also be outlining my campaign platform," he said.
Commissioner Coleman said he's also looking into promoting community concerns about public safety, education, and recreation.
