The Albany Fire Department responded to a house fire in east Dougherty County.

The fire happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Ramsey Road.

According to Battalion Chief Kelly Harvrow, a 14-year-old and a four-year-old were home at the time.

The 14-year-old did have minor burns but did not need to be transported to the hospital.
