ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Former Monroe forward Toddrianna Isler earned national recognition in her collegiate debut season.
Just a year ago she was crying tears of joy signing her letter of intent to Andrew college.
Wednesday afternoon a smiling Isler volunteered at the Lea Henry Camp for Champs. Same feeling--different expression.
As a Freshman Fighting Tiger, Isler averaged 12.1 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.
Her breakout season earned her one of 40 spots in the NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Weekend.
She's the first from Andrew College to ever be selected.
In it's 9th year---the event is for top JUCO players to get exposure to College coaches.
"We're selling ourselves," said Isler who was one of three GCAA players to average a double-double. "Going out there and playing to show them, 'hey y'all need to come look at our school, we've got talent too.'"
The weekend starts July 21st out in Niceville, Florida.
