4 charged after trespassing onto fallen officer's grave

AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

Three juveniles and one adult have been charged in connection with trespassing onto a fallen police officer's grave.

This after surveillance footage captured one man on camera.

According to Maj. Herman Lamar with the Americus Police Department Kaheem D. Chambers, 17 of Americus, is charged with criminal trespass.

The video shows Chambers standing, spitting and walking on fallen Americus Police Officer Nick Smarr's grave, which had footprints when police arrived.

Two female juveniles are charged with curfew violation and obstruction of officers.

They were being held in custody before being sent to Macon, GA.

A third female juvenile was charged with curfew violation and released to a parent.
