ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An 11-year-old Albany boy was laid to rest Wednesday morning.
Folks gathered at Mt. Zion Baptist Church to celebrate the life of Bruce Lemon-Curry.
The boy who had severe autism was found dead in a small pond last week nearly 24-hours after he went missing from his home.
Members of the community arrived at the church in an array of warm spring colors.
A small procession drove in just before 11 a.m.
Then, dressed in white, the family of Lemon-Curry lined the entrance to the church, welcoming his body.
