ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An 11-year-old Albany boy was laid to rest Wednesday morning. 

Folks gathered at Mt. Zion Baptist Church to celebrate the life of Bruce Lemon-Curry. 

The boy who had severe autism was found dead in a small pond last week nearly 24-hours after he went missing from his home.

Members of the community arrived at the church in an array of warm spring colors. 

A small procession drove in just before 11 a.m. 

Then, dressed in white, the family of Lemon-Curry lined the entrance to the church, welcoming his body.
