ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Some kids have an appetite for art, literally.

Sixteen elementary school kids are putting on their chef's hats at a summer camp called 'Eat Your "Art" Out.'

Albany Museum of Art partnered with Thronateeska Heritage Center and Albany Tech to host the camp.

The camp instructor is Todd White who's the Director of Culinary Arts at Albany Tech. It's his first year leading the camp.

He said he enjoys teaching kids about nutrition and preparing homemade foods for a healthy lifestyle.

"The flavors and marrying those together is part of the art. You know, great chefs can combine two flavors that you would never think would ever go together and create some of the most phenomenal dishes," White said.

The camp is from 8 until noon July 17-21.
