The Council of Community Watches /Associations of Albany/Dougherty County hosted its quarterly meeting Saturday.
The goal was to teach storm survivors about the rules and regulations after storm and tornado damage.
The CCWA met at Putney United Methodist church to inform residents about this particular area.
Four times per year the council goes to other sections of the city and county to teach those residents.
Willie Corbett is the CCWA President who says the program aims to address people's questions about storm recovery and rebuilding.
"It means we're making this effort to get them informed so they will be aware if there is any system they could receive," Corbett said.
The next meeting will be in October.
