The 5th annual Coach Nance skills and drills camp just wrapped up Friday afternoon.
Every year Kent Nance puts on a free week-long basketball camp for kids in Crisp County.
Boys and girls ages 7-13 went through a gauntlet of drills each day.
Athletes learned skills like shooting form, footwork and agility.
But the lessons inside of the Crisp County Recreational Department went beyond basketball.
"We are all lifelong learners and secondly anything is possible if you believe. Through education you can achieve all your dreams. Work hard at whatever you want to do, and don't let anybody tell you, you can't do anything. In my camp if somebody says you can't do something, you do push-ups."
Nance brought speakers in each day, and along with the sore arms, kids were given prizes like books and a camp shirt.
