FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) - A man found guilty of the murder of a Fitzgerald lottery winner was sentenced to life in prison without parole, and a consecutive life sentence, plus 30 years, on Thursday morning.
Dabrentis Overstreet was one of seven people accused of killing Craigory Burch, Junior in 2016. It was just months after Burch won more than $400,000 in a lottery game.
A jury found Overstreet guilty of felony murder and 13 other charges in June.
Overstreet is the third defendant to be sentenced in the case. In February, Nathaniel Baker was sentenced to life in prison.
Wayan Malik Jordan was sentenced to two life sentences plus 15 years, but he does have a possibility of parole.
The trial dates for the other four defendants have not been set.
