It's been 32 games in a span of 48 hours at Albany State's West campus gym, and the 2017 Battle of the south champions were crowned.
Team Duval defeated Natural Talent 93-55 in the championship game.
This is the team from Jacksonville's 5th championship in the nine years they have entered a team.
Coached by Mitchel-Baker alum Marcus Thomas, the team went undefeated though the weekend.
This was the 21st year for the Battle of the South in Albany.
The tournament director was impressed with the tournaments growth.
"The first year we started it was hyped up that year.," said Fred Pickett. "But it's gotten more exciting. we've got more teams and they're coming from everywhere just to come home and play in this thing. I've been blessed and we're blessed and we're just happy to have it here. So we'll continue it."
The fellas from Jacksonville have bragging rights for the next 365 days.
