Worth Co. first responders work two wrecks Saturday

WORTH CO., GA (WALB) -

Worth County Fire/Rescue responded to two wrecks Saturday.

The first crash happened on Highway 300 near Smoak Bridge in Warwick just before 5:45 p.m.

Worth County Fire/Rescue responded to use the jaws of life to rescue one person.

Two vehicles wrecked, including a truck carrying a load of watermelons.

One person was taken to the hospital.

Another person was hurt in a different crash in Worth County. around 7:30 Saturday night.

It happened at Willingham and Isabella in Sylvester.

Worth County Fire/Rescue reported the driver of an SUV was ejected when it crashed with a sedan.

The SUV's driver was conscious and alert and taken to the hospital.

The driver of the sedan wasn't hurt.

Sylvester Fire Department, Sylvester Police Department and Worth County Fire Rescue responded to that wreck.
