ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany business owner said Friday he is working to get his store back on its feet, after a burglary put the store out thousands of dollars.

WALB News 10 sat down with Juana Vape owner Tobey Cox Friday.

Cox said the person who robbed the store on Ledo Road last week got away with more than $7,000 worth of merchandise.

Cox estimated he lost $10,000 in stolen merchandise and damage to his store thanks to the crime.

Police arrested Malakhi Perkins, 18, in connection to the burglary.

Cox said he's was happy with how quickly Albany Police made the arrest.

"I feel wonderful about it," Cox said. "I think it's great that we might get some justice out of this."

Perkins is charged with burglary and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

Police are still looking for a second suspect.
