ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he grabbed a mail bin from a U.S. mail truck.

According to police, Antwon Henley, 19, approached Gerald Hawkins, who was delivering mail Thursday afternoon.

Hawkins told police that Henley asked him if he had anything for him, and when Hawkins said no, Perkins became irate.

Then Hawkins reported that he saw Henley go into the mail truck and a mail bin from the front seat.

When police responded to the incident, they saw Henley walking with the bin and took him into custody.

Police said the bin was given back to Hawkins.

Henley has been booked into the Dougherty County Jail and charged with entering auto.

Albany Police detectives said Henley could face federal charges but it's officially unknown if he will be at this time.
