Bainbridge Public Safety asks for information in two fireworks accidents

BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

Officials with Bainbridge Public Safety is asking for the public's help with two fireworks accidents that happened on Tuesday.

They posted the call for information on their Facebook page.

The first happened near the Dairy Queen at the intersection of Shotwell and River Streets at around 9:30.

A woman reported that a man in a gray Dodge pickup truck shot fireworks directly at her, injuring her.

The second incident happened at the Boat Basin around 10 p.m.

A woman reported that she and her daughter were hit with a firework fired directly at them, and they were both injured.

Anyone with information is urged to contact BPS at 229-248-2038 and ask for Major James Dollar.
