Two people were arrested Tuesday by Coffee County deputies, when they tried to use movie prop 'money'  at a convenience store.

Deputies responded to Jet Foods, 9231 Georgia Highway 32 West, just prior to 2 p.m., June 27, in reference to counterfeit money. The report indicates that they were passing counterfeit $100 bills at the convenience store.

The complaint said that 22-year-old William Scarborough and 36-year-old Tomie Karol Inman, both of Douglas, had used the bills while making purchases last Friday.

The report said that Inman presented the first bill for a purchase, and was followed several minutes later by Scarborough. Store surveillance cameras captured the event.

Deputies found Scarborough and Inman at separate residences Tuesday afternoon.

They were arrested and transported to the Coffee County Jail,  on forgery charges.
