An Albany City employee was transported to the hospital after falling into a hole.
According to officials, a sewage maintenance employee was doing some kind of work near a hole in the 800 block of 11th Avenue Tuesday morning.
A spokesperson for the city said that the employee turned off some equipment, but it turned back on, causing him to fall into a hole about 20 feet deep into water.
He was transported to the hospital, treated and released.
The hole was in a fenced in area and isn't accessible to the public.
