TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

Businesses reaped the benefits of the Great Race that roared through downtown Tifton over the weekend.

The event was an antique and vintage car show that made its first stop in Tifton.

More than 100 cars drove from Jacksonville on Saturday, bringing hundreds of spectators.

41 and Main Woodfired Oven on Main Street saw a 20 percent increase in sales.

Operations Manager Sandi Fallin said the entire restaurant was packed with customers.

"Anytime we can participate and be a part of events like this, it's a fantastic thing. We love the community. We love the people coming in. And that's what we're here for, is for the people," Fallin said.

Tifton's next event will be Rock the Block on July 29 on 1st Street.
