COFFEE CO., GA (WALB) -

A woman is facing additional drug charges after officials found drugs hidden in her wig while getting booked in the Coffee County Jail.

Delenea Jones was arrested at around 4 a.m. Saturday on drug possession and distribution charges.

She was transported to the Coffee County Jail after that arrest.

According to officials, when officers were booking Jones into the jail, they search her and ask her to remove her wig.

She refused, and when officers removed it, several bags of a white, powdery substance and bags of colorful tablets fell out.

After an investigation, officials determined the bags contained 1/4 lb. of cocaine and 25 ecstasy tablets.

Jones is now being charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of ecstasy with intent to distribute.
