A Tifton 7th grader is spending her summer spreading love, and saving homeless animals.

Kylei Cutts started a Choose Kindness, God Loves You, John 3:16 campaign.

Cutts is spreading the word through her grey wristbands while also helping homeless animals.

All wristband donations will go to help the Tift Animal Shelter.

She has raised more than $400 so far.

Cutts said she's had a soft spot for animals, since rescuing her boxer Caitlyn.

"I just love animals and I wanted to help them and I wanted them to feel the kindness coming from other people and workers and just how much they love them," said Cutts.

Cutts has already given the Tift Animal Shelter $277.50 through Save Our Pets organization.

She would like to raise $1,000 by December.

Cutts also remarked she has friends spreading kindness with her wristbands in Alabama, Florida, New York, North Carolina and of course Georgia.
