COFFEE CO., GA (WALB) -

A man wanted on child cruelty and battery against a pregnant woman turned himself in to Coffee County authorities Friday morning.

Antwoine Maurice Miller, 29, was booked into the Coffee County Jail, charged with one count of battery against a pregnant female, and one count of third degree cruelty to children.

Deputies responded to the intersection of Georgia Highway 135 and Red McKinnon Road Sunday afternoon, in reference to a man beating a woman, and dragging her out of a car.

They found the 29-year-old victim walking northbound on Highway 135.

She said that she and Miller, of Douglas, were riding when they got into an argument. She said that Miller struck her in the face, pulled her hair, and dragged her from the car, leaving her in the road.

She said he drove away with a two-year-old child in the backseat.

Deputies saw her injuries, issued a lookout for Miller, and took her to a relative's home.
