TERRELL CO., GA (WALB) -

Terrell County continued its Positive Direction Youth Enrichment Program on Thursday.

Thursday's theme was Engineering.

The Terrell County robotics team showed off some of their robots.

The 20-day program includes trips to the Flint Riverquarium and the Columbus Coke Museum.

The program's director hopes activities like these will help prepare kids for the future.

"Hopefully the children get some insight to different colleges, and hopefully the kids go to school to become an engineer," explained Program Director Dorothy Tomlin.

The program also does college visits all over the region. They visited The Tuskegee Institute earlier this summer.
