THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) -

Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle made a stop in Thomasville Thursday morning to talk to small business owners.

Cagle is currently running for the Georgia Governors seat.

Cagle's platform includes creating 500,000 jobs within the first four years.

He said these small businesses and downtown's are vital to South Georgia.

"There is no doubt. When you look today for four years in a row we are the number one state to do business in and there is room to grow," said Cagle.

Cagle visited Grassroots Coffee Shop, Kevin's, along with other shops in downtown Thomasville.
