CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Kicking, punching and breaking wood. Those are some of the things your child could learn at camp this summer.
GTC incorporated studio is hosting seven more weeks of camp for kids ages five to 14.
Arthur Jackson has been running the Taekwondo studio in Cordele for 39 years.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art.
Jackson said through his classes he wants to help produce kids that parents can be proud of.
"My mission is to build, motivate and develop the character of my students mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally and psychologically," explained Jackson.
Andrew Bedore has been taking classes at GTC for eight years. He is now a high range red belt.
"It's fun to hangout with other kids," said Bedore. "They are my brothers, my family, and when you come here you have another opportunity to have a future."
The summer camp runs every week for the next seven weeks.
Drop off is as early as 7:30 a.m. and kids can be picked up by 5:30 p.m..
