Moultrie police search for weekend shooting suspect

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

Moultrie Police are still searching for a suspect who shot a man Sunday, leaving him in critical condition.

Officers said they responded to the hospital at 4 PM  in reference to a man that had been shot.  The victim has been identified as Darren Huntley.

They believe the shooting happened on Third Avenue Northwest.

"At this time we're being very close with our information because we are trying to make a good case here and limit the information that gets out," Major Tonero Bender, Moultrie PD.

    Community members in Albany were able to enjoy a night of music and entertainment all for the "Flint River Habitat for Humanities" annual 'Hammer Jam' event.  Organizers said nearly 700 people attend every year to help people in the community.
