ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Future theatre directors saw their plays come to life on stage this weekend at Albany State University's East Campus.
This weekend, ASU students participated in a One Act Play Festival.
Students studying directing chose one act plays from different decades in the 20th century.
Then, after preparing for weeks, the students saw them through to the stage this weekend.
Organizers said it helps those students get exposure to different playwrites, styles and perspectives.
"The theatre is a mirror of human life and human behavior," said Dr. Eve Graves, ASU's Director of Theatre. "What we want to do is really sort of reflect what's happening with the human condition."
Audience members got to see four different one act plays throughout this weekend for free.
