Crews respond to wreck involving semi on Clark Avenue

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Crews have responded to a wreck involving an SUV and a semi on Clark Avenue near the intersection of John Street.

The call came in around 12:30 Sunday afternoon.

Albany police, the fire department and EMS all responded to the accident.

No details have been given at this time and there is no word yet if anyone was injured.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area until crews have cleared the scene.

    Community members in Albany were able to enjoy a night of music and entertainment all for the "Flint River Habitat for Humanities" annual 'Hammer Jam' event.  Organizers said nearly 700 people attend every year to help people in the community.
