ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Folks at the Albany Police Department are asking for your help.

Officers are trying to raise money for one of their own.

Lieutenant Conley has been employed with APD for 29 years.

For the past seven, he's been on dialysis.

Now he needs a kidney transplant.

Last weekend members of the department hosted a pancake breakfast.

Saturday, they are asking the community to come out to their yard sale.

"We're going to make it at a very reasonable price and we are doing it for a very good cause," said Captain Wendy Luster. "But we also want to thank the community they have done to participate in the prior fundraisers we had. They've been incredible."

The yard sale starts at 8 a.m. at the Veteran's Park Amphitheater.

They'll have a variety of items, including furniture.
