ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A special fundraiser took place on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Doublegate Country Club.

Over 120 golfers teed off for the 16th Annual Cross-Handed Classic.

Each year, organizers donate the proceeds from the tournament.

This year, they will give the money to Mission Change who will disperse the funds to storm victims.

The fundraiser concludes with a special after party. It takes place Friday night at the State Theater in Downtown Albany.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun, supporting a great cause with Mission Change and the storm victims. So, we’d love to have people out for sure,” Professional Golfer Josh Broadaway said.

The Guitars and Golf After Party will take place Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door. The proceeds will again go to storm victims.

Cornbread Mafia, Cole Taylor, and Travis Denning will all be performing at the concert.
