One Bainbridge man is facing charges after officers say they led them on a chase through the public library.
This happened Wednesday morning.
Bainbridge Public Safety officers say Matthew Jackson was running from police and lead them into the library on South Monroe Street.
Investigators say Jackson was wanted for a few thefts in the area.
"We had people running through the metal detector, and it going off and law enforcement yelling commands. When he entered into the library he was trying to pull something out of his pocket and we couldn't tell what it was," said Investigator Chip Nix.
Jackson now faces several drug charges and is being charged for a theft at a local yogurt shop in town.
