A new traffic signal was installed at Clay Road at U.S. 84 and East Hill Avenue, and goes on line Thursday.
On April 10th, Clay Road was temporarily closed to move the railroad crossing.
The Georgia Department of Transportation did this to make the intersection better.
That detour is going away.
The plans are to start using a new flashing yellow arrow signal then.
