AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is looking for an Augusta man who has been missing for three weeks. Julian Williams was last seen on March 25th and his loved ones are worried about his safety.

Savannah Talbert, Julian's cousin, was the last one to see him. "I call him my brother. He is really like a brother to me. "

On March 25 they went to a basketball game and she says he had plans to go to Beech Island afterwards.  When he did not return home his father began to worry because it is not like Julian to go a day without talking with family.

Markeith Williams, who is Julian's father, says,  "I checked his phone. His phone was going straight to voicemail and we knew something was wrong."

Markeith reported him missing to the Richmond County Sheriff Office a few days later. Over the past few weeks the Richmond and Aiken County Sheriff Office have been working together.

Julian's step-mother, Brenda, believes the investigation seems to be progressing and they want it to stay that way.  "We don't want to hamper the investigation in any way and we were advised not to say much about that."

The family is not giving up hope though and has complete faith in God. Their pastor, Angela Hardin, says that gives them strength to keep searching.  "We want him home and we're not going to stop until he's home."

The family held a prayer vigil over a week ago and many people came out to show support. They are asking that the community be on the look out for Julian. Julian's aunt Cherae says raising awareness is what is important right now. "If you have any information or if you have seen him the day of or any day after his disappearance we would love for you to contact the Richmond or Aiken county sheriff's departments."
