Reward offered after two Monday night fires in Albany

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Firefighters say two fires on Marie Road Monday night were intentionally set, and now a reward is be offered to find the arsonist who set them.

Firefighters were called to 113 Marie Road just before 11:30, for a fire in a vacant apartment.  

A short time later another fire was discovered in another vacant apartment at 200 Marie Road.

No one was hurt in either fire.  

Investigators say both fires were set intentionally in chairs, and that is why they believe the same person or persons set both of them.  

A reward up to $10,000 is being offered.
