OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (KFOR/CNN) - A high-speed chase through parts of metro Oklahoma City on Monday ended with a suspect in custody.

It started when officers tried to pull over a pickup truck in the town of Mustang. The driver didn't stop, prompting a police chase which continued along parts of three area interstates.

Speeds hit more than 80 mph when officers pulled back due to safety concerns. The suspect then left the highway and drove through some neighborhood streets.

He eventually parked his truck in the driveway of a home, then began calmly walking down a street. Not long after the suspect is confronted by an officer, which leads to a fight between the two.

The officer was eventually able to get the man to the ground and arrest him. There's no word yet what led to the chase.

KFOR reports that the man's name is Albert Shingleton, 52. He has been charged with felony assault and resisting arrest.
