A man who has been on a watch list, wanted by Coffee County law enforcement on drug and weapons charges, is now behind bars in Douglas.
Andre Cashmon Davis has been on the run since November.
Detectives and K-9 officers with the Douglas – Coffee Drug Unit apprehended the 24-year-old Davis Wednesday, after spotting him walking along Baker Highway.
Davis was wanted for possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
When deputies caught him, Davis had half an ounce of marijuana and two loaded firearms.
In addition to his 2016 charges, Davis is now faced with additional counts of possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, probation violation, and parole violation.
