Thomas University will now offer degrees to airmen in the United States Air Force as part of the Air University program.
The program allows enlisted airmen with an associate degree to enroll in TU's online Bachelor of Science Degree program in Rehabilitation Studies.
There are several air force bases close to Thomasville in South Georgia and North Florida.
University staff said all the work will be done online so the airman can still continue their career.
"The air force is very strong on education. They will be looking to complete the associate and baccalaureate degree. They need to have it online because of deployment," Susan Backofen, VP for Enrollment Management.
Participants in the program must be active duty Air Force, Air Force Reserve or Air National Guard.
