Dougherty County authorities say that now is the time for Dougherty County residents to bring their disaster related debris to the curb for collection during the final pass.
The target date for pick-up is no later than Monday, May 1, 2017.
The county is working to move this process along as swiftly as possible, but need citizens to ensure that they are only placing January storm (1&2) -related debris in the proper areas for collection.
All other items that do not belong will only slow this process down.
Residents are required to follow the process for separating storm-related debris. Debris should be separated into four different categories: normal household trash , vegetative debris , construction & demolition debris , and appliances & white goods.
Storm debris cannot be stacked, leaning or bagged.
