The next grand jury session for Irwin County begins Wednesday, April 12.

The case against Ryan Duke, 33, could be presented.

In his first court appearance after his arrest, a judge told Duke the next grand jury session was set to begin April 12.

If prosecutors decide to present Duke's case Wednesday, that grand jury has to decide whether to indict Duke and take the case to trial.

Duke won't be in court that day, because defendants don't appear for grand jury.
