ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The 2017 Monroe Comprehensive High School Alumni Week is almost here. The day is like a family reunion, where classmates can come together and reunite, every Tornado from 1946 to now can go.
The success of last year grew into another campaign, the Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards. That's when the school was nominated as the best high school in the country, and it won.
This year there will be five days of activities. It will kick off this Wednesday, April fifth with the odd versus even class year basketball game. There will also be an old school step show, as well as a meet and greet, morning pep rally and tailgating day, among other things.
