Multiple suspects are behind bars in Worth County, following a home invasion and burglary within hours of each other.

We know at least four people are facing charges in connection with a home invasion on Woodcrest Road and a burglary on Pebble Hill Circle.

Sheriff Jeff Hobby says four suspects broke into a person's home on Woodcrest Wednesday morning, while the owner was home. The suspects stole TVs, a shotgun, cash, and pills.

While investigators were at the scene, they got a call about another incident nearby.

"We were processing the scene.  We had a report of another burglary in the Pebble Hill subdivision," said the sheriff. "We left that scene, went around to the other scene, because it was a burglary in progress. We were able to catch one of the suspects."

Investigators got a search warrant and have recovered some of the stolen property.

We are still working to get the names of the suspects arrested.

If you have information concerning any of the break-ins please call Worth County Sheriff's Office at 229-776-8211.
